This is one of only three 340 Mexico Berinettas ever built. The 280-horsepower car had a top speed of 174 mph and could go from zero to 60 miles per hour in under six seconds.

All three "Mexico" Berlinettas were built to run in the 1952 Carrera Panamericana, a Mexican road race that is now generally considered to have been the most dangerous car race in history.
