Oracle has spent more than $42 billion on acquisitions since the beginning of 2005, so it should come as no surprise that its technology can be found in nearly every industry.

After acquiring Sun Microsystems in early 2010, Oracle added enterprise servers and storage hardware sales to its already impressive portfolio.
