Few wineries can compete with the scenic vistas at Spanish Valley Vineyards in Utah's red rock country. Just a few miles south of Moab and a short drive from Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, the winery is often a pit stop for tourists visiting the slot canyons, arches and other fanciful landscapes of the region.
The vineyard is planted with riesling, cabernet sauvignon and syrah varietals. The sale comes with all the winery equipment, including a drip irrigation system. On the property, there's a three-bedroom home, an 800 square-foot winery building and a tasting room.
Utah hasn't always been a hot spot for wineries because of its strict alcohol laws, making this winery a rarity. But, says seller Stacy Dezelsky, the state has since liberalized the rules governing the purchase of alcoholic beverages and now even helps provide statewide distribution of Utah-made wines.
