When it comes to unemployment, Generation Next, or people born between 1980 and 2000, are not ones to sit around and complain. They take action. They are not about looking for jobs; they are about creating them.
For these guys and gals, getting a good job has not been easy. In fact, unemployment for adults under 30 is 13.2%. Boomers aren't retiring and freeing up jobs. And frankly, making the corporate climb, at a time when layoffs loom, doesn't seem worthwhile.
So for this generation, it's becoming a create-your-own-job economy.
People of this generation are 120% more likely to be business owners without previous workplace experience, according to the Guardian Life Small Business Research Institute. And 21% of 1,000 college students and recent grads in a Young Entrepreneur Council survey started businesses as a result of unemployment.
The following 10 entrepreneurs are innovative, go-getting and profitable. It doesn't hurt that they look good, too.
