Truthfully, Phillips didn't make nearly this much. The former Oracle co-president resigned in September 2010, on the same day Mark Hurd joined the company. Phillips' ouster came in the wake of a very public affair, in which a photo of him and his mistress was strewn up on billboards across the country.
As a result of his resignation, Philips did not collect the $25.7 million in stock options that he was owed. He also didn't take home a bonus. But he's got a new gig to keep him busy and well-paid: He's now the CEO of Infor, a privately held software company.
