A 2010 Nightline segment estimated that Psychopathic Records had revenue of $10 million a year. Their roster includes Twiztid, Georgia rapper Boondox, supergroup Dark Lotus, and since 2011, Vanilla Ice.
Psychopathic has several subsidiaries, including label Hatchet House, as well as other branches that handle merchandise, video, and professional wrestling. The label's success is notable because it was achieved despite the roster of artists receiving little or no commercial radio play.
To cut costs and adhere to their DIY ethos, Psychopathic keeps almost every aspect of their business in-house. The label runs its own manufacturing and distribution operations from two warehouses in Farmington Hills, Mich., where they have a recording studio, shoot videos, run an internet radio station, and where they make their own merchandise. The label employs nearly 30 full-time workers.
