Once again, PepsiCo's Frito-Lay has launched its annual Super Bowl contest, where freelance advertisers direct and submit their own Doritos ads.

Fans vote online for their favorites, which will get aired during the game. If one of those ads manages to score the top spot on the USA Today Facebook Super Bowl Ad Meter, the contestant wins a $1 million jackpot.

The contestants typically use humor in their ads. This year's batch offers up a baby in a slingshot, a man who thinks he's a bird, and a tongue twister about lovely ladies and scary dogs.
