State and federal government employees have also been found guilty of unemployment fraud.
A former Texas state employee was ordered to serve two years in prison, pay about $263,000 in restitution, serve 250 hours of community service and attend Gamblers Anonymous meetings after she assisted people in filing fraudulent unemployment claims.
She would approve the fraudulent claims in exchange for $200 a piece.
