'Handing off the baton'
'Handing off the baton'
Name: Bud Cusack
Age: 67
Home town: Naples, Fla.

Bud Cusack, president of west coast operations for Stiles Corp., a real estate development company, began easing into retirement this past September.

The best part of the move, he says, is staying productive at a job he loves without working as much. The hardest part? Fitting all his work into 24 hours a week.

"I have the same level of accountability and title," Cusack says, "but it's like a relay race and I'm handing off the baton. I enjoy that."
