Boeing brought its stylish 787-8 Dreamliner to Paris for the first time in 2011.

Built with many major sections made by international partners outside the U.S., the Dreamliner crossed an industry threshold with its fuselage and wings made mostly from lightweight, super-strong carbon fiber material.
