2015: Bombardier gambles on an all-new jet

In 2015, Bombardier brought two new models to Paris: the CS100 and CS300, the first all-new, single-aisle large airliners in three decades.
The CS100 and CS300 seat up to 135 and 160 passengers, respectively. Bombardier touted its twin engines and lightweight carbon fiber wings as big fuel savers against older jets from rivals Boeing and Airbus.
