Goldman Sachs

Goldman Sachs exterior NYC

Employees at investment banks typically work long hours, but new parents at Goldman Sachs (GS) get generous leave.

Primary caregivers get 16 weeks of paid time off. The first 12 weeks are considered disability leave and have to be taken sequentially, but the remaining four weeks can be taken at any time during the baby's first year.

Non-primary caregivers also get four weeks at full pay to take at any point during the first year.

Expectant parents can take childbirth and labor classes at the bank's New York offices and there's also on-site gynecology.
