Lego store

Lego is in the business of making kids happy, but parents who work for the company also have reason to smile.

Mothers get 13 weeks of paid maternity leave and the option to take another 13 weeks with no pay. Fathers get two weeks paid plus two weeks unpaid paternity leave.

New moms can ease back into their job with a month-long transition period during which they can work a flexible schedule, part time or a compressed week.

The toy company also helps out with child care costs with a 22% subsidy to the LEGO daycare located across the street from its Connecticut campus.
