Last week, President Obama proposed some relief for graduates with student loans. But for too many, decisions made in college on student loans continue to haunt them. Edited for clarity.
I am currently struggling to pay my student loans, even though I have a good job at Bank of America (BAC). Every month, $300 from my pay is taken out to cover the loan payment. With all my other bills, I barely get by. I have a bachelor's degree in information security, but I'm getting paid for customer service work. The struggle is real. I have no idea how people can do it and still have kids or any life.
