Bill McNally's products have gone on raids with the U.S. Army, orbited the earth, and even helped protect Anna Kournikova. The 43-year-old McNally is CEO of Noble Fiber, which created X-Static, a technology that weaves silver into fabric to kill bacteria and odor on clothing while managing heat. X-Static fabric can be found in sportswear like Umbro jerseys and Kournikova's sports bra made by Shock Absorber, and in a new line of wound products from Johnson & Johnson. This summer the 90-person company will see its material show up in the Olympic uniforms of teams from 61 countries as a way to prevent athletes from overheating in the blistering Athens sun. --J.S.
