Con-way Truckload, a full truckload carrier and subsidiary of Con-way Inc. (NYSE: CNW), today announced it has opened a driver orientation center in Columbus, Ohio. The new location adds to the company's network of three others that are strategically located around the country, reducing travel time and making it easier and less expensive for driver candidates to attend -- regardless of where they reside.

In addition to the center in Ohio, Con-way Truckload offers driver orientations at its Joplin, Mo., and Lancaster, Texas, driver terminals, and at a location in Jacksonville, Fla. During the week-long orientation sessions, which are held year-round, driver candidates are interviewed, attend safety training, take their road tests and undergo health and drug screenings. Drivers are paid for successfully completing the orientation program. Con-way Truckload also pays for hotel accommodations.

Con-way Truckload is currently hiring experienced over-the-road solo and team drivers. Interested candidates should have a Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) and be willing and able to drive all 48 states and Canada. The company offers a separate program for those drivers with limited experience, such as students.
