The Saturn Aura and the Pontiac G6 certainly don't seem related. They don't look alike and the Aura, which borrows its front suspension design from the Saab 9-3 but other parts from the G6, drives like a nice European sedan.

The Pontiac G6 drives like... well, not like that.

The redesigned Chevrolet Malibu, to be revealed soon at the 2007 Detroit Auto Show, will share just about everything under the skin with the Aura. But it won't look anything like the Aura from the outside.

Don't expect it to drive like the Aura, either. Even though the parts will be the same, GM engineers will tune the Malibu's steering and suspension to appeal to buyers with more "American" tastes.
