The Hummer's interior is straightforward and attractive. Controls are easy to locate and simple to use. The thick-rimmed, leather-wrapped steering wheel is especially nice.
Otherwise, the nicely designed interior is made from some unfortunately hard materials. The same can be said, however, of the Wrangler and FJ Cruiser. It comes with the territory.
The Hummer's back seats don't quite fold down flat, making for an awkward cargo-loading surface.
With its smoother, quieter highway ride and available full-side airbag protection, the H3 squeaks out a win over the Wrangler in day-to-day usability. Both leave the FJ Cruiser in the dust when it comes to the real world.
