Catching big air in monster trucks is hardly a revolutionary theme in video games, but "Excite Truck" manages to make it feel new. Using the Wii's motion sensitive controller as a steering wheel, you'll tear around turns, turbo boost over hills and adjust the pitch of your vehicle midair in an attempt to make a perfect landing. It's a fresh take on a genre that was in danger of going stale - and it's one that's accessible to players of all skill levels. There's no online multiplayer, which is a shame, but "Excite Truck" may still prove to be one of the better party games of the Wii's launch lineup.
