2005 rank: 6 Italy As chairman of the media conglomerate founded by her father, the former Prime Minister, Berlusconi, 40, has broadened Fininvest's reach. In June the company acquired French publisher Emap, adding to a portfolio that includes the A.C. Milan football team, three TV channels accounting for half of Italy's market, and book publisher Mondadori. Net profits quadrupled last year, to $2.2 billion, on net revenue of $6.8 billion.
