As chairman of the media conglomerate founded by her father, the former Prime Minister, Berlusconi, 40, has broadened Fininvest's reach. In June the company acquired French publisher Emap, adding to a portfolio that includes the A.C. Milan football team, three TV channels accounting for half of Italy's market, and book publisher Mondadori. Net profits quadrupled last year, to $2.2 billion, on net revenue of $6.8 billion.
