NEW YORK (CNNfn) -
Former ImClone CEO Sam Waksal's next destination may be a Florida prison dubbed by some in the press as "Club Fed."
The jail was requested by his lawyers at his sentencing Tuesday. The decision on where he reports to prison July 2 is up to the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
A spokeswoman for the bureau bristled at the "Club Fed" reference to the jail.
"We call it Eglin Federal Prison Camp," Tracy Billings said about the minimum-security prison located on the Florida Panhandle.

The 843 prisoners currently housed at the all-male prison live in dormitory-style housing, similar to military barracks, said Billings. Inmates are roused from their bunk beds by 7:00 a.m. and start their work detail at 7:30 a.m.
As in all federal prisons, inmates must work 7-1/2 to 8 hours each day. Duties may include working in food service, performing groundskeeping duties or working in the warehouse.
Inmates can earn as much as 40 cents per hour for their efforts.
Waksal is currently wearing an electronic bracelet and is under house arrest until July 2. The corrections department's decision on which jail he will go to depends on factors such as length of sentence, charges and medical needs, according to Billings.
