Fox: 'You're Hired' to (Ivana) Trump
Donald Trump's ex-wife to host a dating reality special, helping mature woman find young love.

NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - Donald Trump's not the only one entitled to have fun in reality television: now his ex-wife wants a piece of that action too.

Ivana, ex-wife of Donald Trump, will host a reality TV show on Fox.

Fox Television said this week that Ivana Trump, the ex-wife of the Donald, will host a two-hour dating reality special -- tentatively called "Ivana Young Man" -- this fall.

On the show, the 55-year-old Czech-born former model will assume the role of matchmaker, helping a successful but lonely forty-something woman find a twenty-something man who can share her lavish lifestyle.

Trump will handpick eight young bachelors to compete for the affections of the mature, well-to-do woman, who will then rely on Trump to help her narrow the field down to a final suitor.

"For years, rich older men have traded in their wives for pretty young women with bigger 'attributes'," Mike Darnell, executive vice president at Fox, said in a statement.

"Thanks to women like Ivana Trump, Demi Moore and Cher, the social norms are changing, and mature women are finding that true love can happen with younger men," Darnell added.

Ivana will also serve as a teacher, expert and guide to the forty-something bachelorette, but the final choice will be made by the lovelorn socialite, not by Trump, Fox said.

Ivana Trump divorced Donald in a highly publicized case in 1992 after 12 years of marriage. The Donald, as he's called by New York's tabloid newspapers, then married Marla Maples the following year.

Maples and Trump divorced in 1999. Donald Trump, 58, is currently engaged to a 33-year-old Slovenian model, Melania Knauss. His popular reality show "The Apprentice" is scheduled to return for its second season on Sept. 9 on NBC.  Top of page
