Gas price decline continues
AAA survey shows pump prices continue to sink across range of fuel types.

NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - Gasoline prices moved lower Wednesday across every grade of fuel including diesel, according to AAA's daily fuel gauge report.

The national average for the price of regular unleaded gasoline at the pump fell more than two cents to $2.935 from Tuesday's price of $2.956, the travel club reported.

The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas was $1.839 a year ago, according to AAA.

Gasoline prices have moved lower since peaking at $3.057 on Labor Day.

Mid-grade and premium gasoline prices also fell across the country as the nationwide average at the pump for mid-grade gas fell to $3.115 from Tuesday's price of $3.139. Premium gasoline fell to $3.229 from $3.253, while diesel prices fell by a little over a penny to $2.905 from $2.919 on Tuesday, AAA reported.

AAA's "Daily Fuel Gauge Report" revealed that gasoline prices in Hawaii were the most expensive in the country, with the average price of regular unleaded costing $3.457. Gasoline prices in Mississippi were the cheapest, with the average price for regular unleaded at $2.637.
