NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) - Apple Computer is set to announce Tuesday that it will offer a limited number of "Saturday Night Live" skits on its iTunes Music Store for viewing on video iPods or personal computers, according to a published report.

The New York Times said the company will sell the archived skits of the NBC Universal show for $1.99 each.

A "SNL" sketch rapping about seeing "The Chronicles of Narnia," featuring cast members Chris Parnell and Andy Samberg, became an Internet sensation after Apple (Research) made it available for free on iTunes last month.

The "SNL" offering is the latest effort by Apple to expand its iTunes video library, which also includes episodes of TV shows such as NBC's The Office" and ABC's "Desperate Housewives" and "Lost," the newspaper said.
