Stocks' sour startU.S. markets lower at the open as investors fret about oil, earnings and the economy.NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- U.S. stocks slipped at the start of trading Monday amid continuing concerns about the economy, corporate earnings and the price of oil. The Dow Jones industrial average dropped 0.3 percent. The Nasdaq composite index was 0.9 percent lower. The Standard & Poor's 500 index retreated 0.4 percent.
