While lots of companies show off new cars at major auto shows, they rarely show off wrecked ones. Ford has a smashed Taurus on display at the New York Auto Show and it's even inviting visitors to come inside. As they stand in the driver's seat position, they can watch a "dummy's-eye-view" of the crash test.

Ford wants to remind auto show visitors of the Taurus's five-star performance in government crash tests as well its designation as a "Top Safety Pick" by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
