Loot's Tree and Earrings
A tree hugger since childhood, Genevieve Church began integrating recycled glass into her sculptures at Mercurial Arts, a glass company she ran with her husband Michael. Then the recycled product line outgrew the company. Genevieve's new company, Loot!, features ornaments and jewelry made of 100% recycled scrap from local studios and from broken Pyrex glassware. Her signature item is a decorative tree, sculpted with an oxygen propane torch that can reach 3,600-degrees Fahrenheit.
