5 spots for fall foliage
It's that time of year, and the leaves are starting to change. Here are five easy-to-get-to spots with stunning views of nature's handiwork.
Why it's worth the trip: This upstate New York town, about 90 minutes from the capital of Albany (and about four hours from New York City), may best known for a certain hall of fame, but it's got a lot more to offer than plaques honoring baseball greats.

Many travelers say the mountainous terrain, heavy on the maples and oaks, is as spectacular in the fall as what you'll find in such nearby New England states as Vermont and New Hampshire.
Plus, within walking distance of Cooperstown's old-fashioned downtown is the nine-mile-long Otsego Lake, which looks all the more picture-perfect in the autumn.
