The Tiguan is a decidedly compact SUV, but it's just big enough retain some of the roomy feel and functionality we expect from an SUV.
It also fun to drive, as VW's are traditionally supposed to be. The Tiguan's steering is taut and responsive but the ride is smooth. In a similar vein, the design is understated, even conservative, but still very handsome.
