When Porsche first introduced the Cayenne SUV in 2002, it served one purpose and it served it well. It brought in profits. Meanwhile, Porsche's engineers continued to concentrate and making great sports cars, like the Boxster, Cayman and various versions of the iconic 911.
For 2011, Porsche introduced a new version that Cayenne that, one assumes, will still be profitable but that is now also great fun to drive. It doesn't just look like a Porsche -- even more so than the old one -- it feels like one with crisp handling and quick responses.
