Fiat 500
Base price: $15,500 - $23,500
Mileage: 34 MPG: 30 City, 38 Hwy

For couples without a lot of money but a long road ahead of them, the Fiat 500 is an ideal way to go. The back seats might be a little snug for long-haul passengers, but they're a great place to stash extra luggage.

Up front, the 500 has plenty of room behind its cool retro-styled dashboard, and there are few cars that are more fun to be seen in. The 500 also rides nicely, even at highway speeds. If you opt for the convertible 500c you can raise or lower the cloth roof at up 60 miles per hour.
