Battle of the box cars

This compact people-mover uses its space-efficient shape to squeeze in seating for three abreast in two rows of seats instead of using the conventional five-passenger layout. Manufactured in Italy since 1998, it is slated to remain there despite the relaunch of the Fiat brand in the U.S. Despite its utility, its ungainly cowl bulge below the windshield won it Top Gear's ugliest car of the year in 1999 as well as one of the ugliest cars in history.
