From Gucci to Kenneth Cole, designers across the fashion spectrum rushed to jump on the slip-on loafer bandwagon. Will 2011 again be a "loafers" kind of year?
"We can deliver these results to retailers in as little as 48 to 72 hours," said Petro.
That quickness is important to retailers. Last year they rushed to stock up on slip-on loafers, for example. Should they be just as quick this year to pull them off their shelves?
In 2011, Petro said consumers more than ever before will have an active voice in dictating what retailers sell.
