iDonatedIt, an iPhone app created by a group of certified accountants, keeps a list of the items you've donated, when and where they were donated, and their value. It even lets you snap photos of the items.
You can e-mail the donation reports to yourself or straight to your accountant when it's time to file your taxes.
Big charitable donations are red flags for audits, so this gives you the backup you need if you ever get questioned by the IRS.
The app costs $2.99 and is available on iPhones.
