General Motors luxury division has made splashes recently with big cars like the Ciel concept and the upcoming XTS full-size sedan. Now it's taking a step in the other direction with the ATS, a compact model tuned for performance. It will be powered by a 270 horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine, a 2.5-liter non-turbo four-cylinder or a non-turbo 3.6-liter V6.
