Sold for: $2.4 million
Auctioneers: Barrett-Jackson
The Silver Arrow cost an incredible $10,000 when it was unveiled at the 1933 New York Auto Show. A typical Cadillac car cost about $3,000 at the time.
The big car's 115 mile per hour top speed was incredible, too. Only five were ultimately built, of which three survive.
Before this, one hadn't been been sold in about 25 years, according to Craig Jackson, president of Barrett-Jackson.
