The Rav4 "continues to set the pace among small SUVs," Consumer Reports said. It has a roomy interior and comfortable ride while still providing good, responsive handling. It's also among the most fuel-efficient in its class with Consumer Reports rating it at 22 to 23 mpg overall, depending on how it's equipped. The EPA rates it at 22 to 24 mpg.
