Cool cars from the New York Auto Show

This is Porsche's first diesel product in the U.S. It will go from zero to 60 miles per hour in as little as 4.4 seconds while getting 20 miles per gallon in city driving and 28 on the highway. Prices start about $56,000.

That's just one mile per gallon less in highway driving than the Porsche Cayenne Hybrid S -- city fuel economy is the same -- at a starting price that's $13,000 lower. Even with the high price of diesel fuel, that should be an attractive option for a lot of buyers.
