Porsche's new Boxster is longer, wider and lighter than the one you can buy now. It will be roomier inside, too, of course.

Both the base and high-performance S models will be slightly more powerful. The Boxster S will go from zero to 60 miles per hour in about 4.7 seconds, according to Porsche.

The new Boxster will go on the sale in the U.S. early this summer with the base model priced at $49,500 and the S at $60,900.
