Julia Hartz co-founded the events management and ticketing company Eventbrite in 2006.

The former MTV employee initially focused on marketing and management at the startup.

Eventbrite has more than 500 employees and says it's on track to process 200 million tickets in 180 countries this year.

Hartz took over from her husband, another co-founder, as Eventbrite CEO in 2016.
