[Big If]
By Grainger David

(FORTUNE Magazine) – The big question in Mark Costello's novel Big If (Norton) is which of two siblings, a videogame programmer and a Secret Service agent, raised by a father who scratches out the "God" on dollar bills and scribbles in "Us," is going to snap first. The videogame parts alone are worth the read for their smart, funny, and rather bleak look at the American workplace.
