CEO: Dieter Zetsche Employees: 260,100 Address: Mercedesstrasse 137 Stuttgart 70327 Country: Germany Website: www.daimler.com Daimler's sales are set to cruise this coming year, at least partly due to the rapidly expanding Mercedes market in China. The company sold 137% more cars in China in 2010 than it did in 2009, and it has set its sights on satiating the country's appetite for luxury cars. In fact, the company is building its first car engine plant outside of Germany in China, which is scheduled to open in 2013. But there's certainly more to the company's future than China. The company sold 37% more trucks globally in 2010 than it did the previous year. And Daimler sold 20% more buses in 2010 compared to the previous year, thanks to increased demand in Latin America. --S.D. Subscribe to Fortune Magazine Is Daimler a great company, or what?
