Sony Corp.'s (SNE) Sony Pictures Television unit will offer its catalog of movies for broadcast through AT&T Inc.'s (T) Mobile TV service, which launches in May.

The Culver City, Calif., unit of the Tokyo-based consumer electronics giant said its PIX channel will stream movies from its Columbia Pictures, Tri-Star, ScreenGems and Sony Pictures Classics studios to AT&T wireless customer's mobile phones.

Shares in Sony Corp. slipped 45 cents, or 1.1%, to $40.18 in recent trading.
