Optex Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Optex Systems Holdings, Inc. (OTCQB: OPXS), a leading manufacturer of optical sighting systems and assemblies for domestic and foreign militaries, announced today a $1.2 Million award for periscopes from General Dynamics Land Systems (NYSE: GD).

"We are pleased to support General Dynamics Land Systems in their upgrade support of the M1A1 Abram's Main Battle Tank for Morocco," said Danny Schoening, Optex's CEO. He continued, "Optex continues to look for international sales and this contract helps enable our company to pursue these international opportunities."

These products will be delivered on a continuous basis in 2016 and 2017 and is consistent with the normal order fulfillment process of Optex Systems, Inc.
