The retrofit module connects a new Briggs & Stratton^® generator to the existing installed transfer switch, enabling the two units to communicate when power is needed to the home.

Until now, a homeowner was forced to replace not only the standby generator, but the transfer switch as well, which required a technician to remove the existing wiring and replace it with a new unit.
