Protiviti Promotes Cory Gunderson and Barbara Rothenstein to Executive Vice President Positions

New executive leaders will further firm's strategic goals and continued growth

MENLO PARK, Calif., Dec. 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Global consulting firm Protiviti has promoted Cory Gunderson and Barbara Rothenstein to the position of executive vice president. Gunderson, previously a managing director and leader of the global financial services practice, will lead the firm's overall global solutions. Rothenstein, previously a senior vice president, will oversee Protiviti's global finance and field operations.

Gunderson has more than 25 years of experience advising global clients primarily in the financial services industry. Earlier in his Protiviti career, Gunderson was the firm's global risk and compliance solution leader. His expertise spans the risk management spectrum, focused primarily on banks, insurance companies, specialty finance and other financial institutions. Gunderson is based in Protiviti's Chicago office and was recognized by Consulting magazine as one of its Top 25 Consultants in 2009.

Rothenstein leads a team of finance and operations professionals responsible for financial and technology matters, streamlining business processes and managing Protiviti's office operations around the world. Rothenstein also serves on the firm's diversity and inclusion steering committee and leads its global sustainability initiative. In 2013, she was recognized by Consulting magazine as one of the Women Leaders in Consulting. She has been with Protiviti since the firm's inception in 2002, and is based in its New York office.
