Description: This car, "Serial #001," is the very first modern Shelby GT production car. It is, for all practical purposes, a retail version of the Shelby GT-H which can be rented from Hertz.

The Shelby GT starts as a standard Mustang GT which is immediately sent to Shelby America for modifications. Changes include a boost from 300 to 325 horsepower, lower, tighter suspension and other handling improvements.

A Shelby GT-H auctioned at another event last summer sold for $250,000.
