As in America, crossover SUVs are becoming increasingly popular in Europe. In the U.S., the five-seat Journey will be offered with an optional two-seat third row. Novel features will include a "child presenter seat" which allows part of the second-row seat to move two inches forward so the driver can more easily attend to the child. (This is for use when the vehicle is parked, of course.) The full second row can move forward and back 4.7 inches.
The Journey will have a six-speed automatic transmission and a 3.5-liter 235-horsepower V6 engine.
