"The aesthetic of Proenza Schouler is really about contrast and mixing and creating something new," say the designing duo, both 28 years old. "It's never about being completely precious or completely street. When we were approached [by Target] we felt like a really organic project for us. We created something for Target that retained the idea of Proenza Schouler and that was attainable."
