The convertible The sleek Blackberry Pearl ($399.99 through Cingular) phone becomes a GPS device when paired with the small Telenav GPS Bluetooth receiver ($99.99). I had no trouble connecting the two devices via Bluetooth or acquiring GPS signals. The small screen is bright and detailed. And it's nice to find affordable GPS capability in a small package. Of course, you're still dealing with a cell phone: The screen is tiny compared with most dedicated GPS devices, and data entry is cumbersome.
